Inspiring the Next Generation, Building a Stronger Community
Based in Houston, Renfrewshire, Houston United FC is a community-rooted football club and registered charity committed to making football accessible to all.
We provide inclusive, high-quality football opportunities for boys and girls from age 5, helping young people grow both on and off the pitch. Our aim is to develop skills, confidence, and a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment—regardless of background or ability.
The club also proudly supports an amateur men’s team, offering a platform for continued player development and connection beyond youth football.
At Houston United FC, we believe football has the power to unite, inspire, and uplift. Join us in building a stronger community through the beautiful game.

Girls 8 & Under

Girls Under 8 and Under 7s
Houston United Girls Under 8 and under 7s is a group of young girls aged 8 and under who like the idea of playing football together with their friends/teammates.
The girls train on Monday evenings at Gryffe High School and the primary objective is to let the girls enjoy themselves whilst keeping active and learning the basics of football. All abilities are more than welcome to join.
Our girls also have the opportunity to participate in matches against opposing teams of a similar age and ability at Parklea in Port Glasgow on Sunday mornings. The games are played for fun and used to try and enhance the skills the girls develop at training.

Houston United FC 2012
The 2012 Houston United boys team brings together young footballers from not just Houston but from nearby villages and towns.
The team has gone through considerable changes on both a player and coaching side, with three new coaches and several new players.
On top of these changes, the team has moved to a new league, the ERSDA with the emphasis on developing and growing the new players and coaches.
The aim for this season is to develop the new team and help our young players progress.
We have already shown we can be competitive and will continue to improve as both players and coaches.
